Accessibility statement
WILKE IT aims to make this website accessible according to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the German BITV. Accessibility is a quality marker for us — especially in the sensitive healthcare environment.
Current state of compliance
This website is largely compatible with WCAG 2.1 AA. Individual pieces of content may still contain partial barriers, which we identify and fix on an ongoing basis.
Measures we have implemented
- Semantic HTML with clear heading hierarchy and landmark roles.
- Keyboard operability: all interactive elements reachable, visible focus indicator.
- Skip link "Skip to content" on every page.
- Colour contrasts at least WCAG AA. Raspberry red is only used for large elements/buttons and accents, not for small body text on white.
- Reduced motion — we respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting. - Touch target sizes at least 44 × 44 pixels on mobile.
- Alt text for content-bearing graphics; decorative graphics are marked as such.
- Forms with unambiguous labels, clear error messages and screen-reader support.
- Language is correctly declared via the
langattribute.
Non-accessible content
The following content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Embedded PDF documents (e.g. third-party data sheets) where they are not provided in an accessible format.
- Third-party embeds (e.g. Microsoft Bookings, OpenStreetMap) — these follow the provider's specifications.
